We aspire to empower youth voices and to keep a record of their experiences through writing, film, photography and social media. First hand stories are a powerful way for youth to report to their peers, parents and larger community in a meaningful way that brings the Children’s Forest to life. We collaborate with partners like the Alaska Teen Media Institute and Brave New Alaskan Voices who mentor young storytellers so today’s youth grow up with the confidence and skills to make their voices heard.
